Modern "Styling" Has Cloned Everything

How come people seem not to realize they are currently making a 2 door version of the Charger-

It's called the Challenger!

The only reason why I find a 4 door Charger tolerable is that is why they sell in the numbers they do.
Make mine 2 door please.

You're right!! If the charger would have been 2 doors sales would have been affected on both cars, in fighting within a company is bad for sales.

They used to build 2 and 4 door cars in the old B body style....and even station wagons. Why can't they do the Charger in 2 AND 4 door models? The Challenger is a cool style but so is the Charger and both look very different from each other just like they did in the 70's.

A charger should have only 2 doors.
Dang straight !!!!
More doors equals more whores. :D
While true, I’m not getting any if they can’t slip into the rear without the need of a rear door. If they need the door, there tooooooo FAT!

Thphhhhhh, that’s just just wrong all day long.

True. In the current market in this day and age, ol’#3 can’t afford to have two cars of the similar kind set. The closest thing to that is only Chevy now with the Camaro as the muscle car and the Corvette that stepped up over that level. Ford only has the Mustang in its muscle car category.

A powerful sedan is always welcome in any version of any vehicle being produced and will continue to sell if the public likes it enough. Fords Taurus SHO version did pretty well. The Charger is killing it in this field.

While I also still hold on my heart that the Charger should have only ever been a 2 door, Chrysler gave the muscle car field to the Challenger and the Challenger only. I also have no hope for a Chrysler Cuda redux.

Chrysler desperately needed a 4 door car that came in at lower level price point to attract the younger generation with one child and older drivers that wanted the room and the looks. As far as a cuda showing up, I personally see that as a probably not. The platform would be there because of the challenger and charger, but again, infighting for sales could be a problem. But, it could work if they could sell 3 to 4 hundred thousand a year over and above without hurting other sales numbers. I do believe there are that many people in this country that would buy one. I bought a new Durango last month and it came down to it and the charger. I just needed more room to haul after getting rid of my ram so the Durango won out. The charger would have been a 392 or nothing, they are one nice ride!!

One of the reasons for the TWO DOOR Challenger doing so well is the MASSIVE amount of room in the back seat, and overall. Much more passenger and trunk space than the Mustang or Marrow...

Is the unit body of the two cars not nearly identical except for length?

Is the powertrain not identical?

Come on. Kindly remove the red x.
