Anyone know of a qualified vehicle appraiser in the Eastern PA area? I have a 1969 Plymouth Road Runner, driver quality, that my soon to-be ex wife has valued at a price no one in their right mind would pay for my car, $31,000.00. Yes you guessed it, divorce time and she is not going to get me to sell my baby. She used Kelly Blue Book valuations which is ridiculous for any classic vehicle.

HELP, Please

I've had these guys before and they cover east coast area. Best of luck!

I hate to break it to you but that's probably pretty close, unless you have a massive rust bucket according to Haggerty with 1 being best and 4 being worst and if we say you have a number 3 its average is $30,000. It also depends on what options you have like hardtop,coupe,383,440 six,426,etc. A number 4 car with a 383 4 bbl 2 door hard top is $21,000. So you might want to negotiate your divorce without the car if you can,it's probably very unlikely she will go for it but you never know.Good luck with Satan you're going to need it! If the divorce hasn't been filed yet sell the car to someone you can trust for like 100.00 and re-title it then get it back after all the **** has hit the fan, otherwise you'll have to contest everything she wants to wear her down to finally give up on the car because if you go to the courts to let them decide it might not go well for you.

X2 on the selling it to a friend or family member... but be realistic on the price on paper for say 10,000 then if they can't question it you get you're car for that money and nobody will believe you sold it for $100...
And put it into a storage out of state in you're name... not at the friends incase they have a change of heart...

X2 on these guys. I had them do an appraisal on my car and they produce a very well documented report.....if you decide to go this way.

Dump it to a trusted friend for cheap, buy it back in a couple of years after the dust settles then find another trusted friend who will cap the bitch for a six pack.

I`ll come get it and store it for you :icon_biggrin:
