On the way back from picking up a block and some parts from my Uncles I took my son to the Mopar Mania for his first Drag Race. He had a blast. Some cool cars and good runs. Had to explain to my son to always pay attention though as some thing could go wrong. He didn’t quite understand. Unfortunately there was a wreck on one of the runs and he’s was speechless. He has such a good heart and I insisted we walked down to be sure he was ok. Prayers for the driver and his family. Met a fellow member, Robb, and had some good conversation. And yes, father of the year forgot to make sure he had pants packed And let him wear his pajamas to keep warm! When I told the wife she just shook her head, ha!

Me too. Maybe next run over that way we can hook up. My family lives in Charlotte, Concord, and Kannapolis, so I am over that way often. Another good show is the Mopar show at the NC Train Museum, but it was cancelled this year. I am sure something will come up that way and we can hook up. Would love to see that bad A ride of yours!

My wife and I had a great time. Nice meeting you Paul and thanks for posting the pics and videos. There were many very nice cars in the show and on the track. For me the best was the ‘68 Sport Satellite with the modern Hemi in it. Beautiful car and he won the Modern Hemi class.

Robb, it was great to meet you as well. There were a lot of great cars and I surprised myself by really liking the 300 probably most of all!
