Not sure if I posted any of this here.Been so busy with work that progress with the car suffers.
Installed an "I" beam in the ceiling with a trolley.Mounted an electric winch on the trolley so I could lift the blower off without having 3 or 4 friends come over to "man" the sepintine belts.

With everything cleaned up,took the intake manifold to S&K speed to machine an "O" ring on the top of the intake to eliminate that gasket. While I was at S&K,I purchased the rest of the Racepak sensors I wanted and picked up SUPERPERFORMANCE intake gaskets. Now I can put the blower back on by MYSELF!

Had to change the front shock top mount from the stud to have room for the covers, otherwise I would have to drop the shock to get the cover off. I wonder why they didn't do it like this back in the day instead of inverting the shock tower:icon_bounce:

Removed the stock dash cluster and fabricated a panel to mount the Racepak logger dash.

Greg from http://www.superformanceproducts.com/ told me to retorque after several heat cycles. So removing is now simple.

Was that some kind of fancy cleaner in the blue bottle that says 1800???????? Nice setup, easy on the back.

Maybe later this week I can get on the lift and install the Afco sliders.

Parts, parts & more parts
stimulating the economy one engine upgrade at a time...LOL

good luck
Happy Moparing

Dropped off the dash stuff at the body shop, hope to get them back tomorrow.
Sunday I might get on the lift to stall sliders and raise front spring eye bolts. While up there, install drive shaft sensor and o/2 sensors and secure the wire harnesses.
Changed idle air bleeds and fired it up today, that felt good. This is the 1st heat cycle for the intake gaskets.Greg told me to retorque after several heat cycles.

As always, life & work get in the way. I had purchased a dash panel from Racepak,it's 19.5 inches wide. My dash cluster is 21 inches wide:icon_eyes: So we fabbed one up with aluminum.Test fitted and it looks GOOD!

Looks great! The new winch system is too bad either:headbang:

Installed new plugs,FireCore wires and distributor after a sneeze back into the intake.I went to lean into it hard when it misfired and sneezed. The pressure relief valve got cocked and didn't close, causing a huge vacume leak.It was a handful to stop when it wouldn't go below 3000 rpm.
After replacing those parts,,,,,,,,,,,it ran real strong!!
I had a new friend in the car during this "road test".I heard some gurging noise coming from the passenger seat at about 120 MPH,so I got out of it.Marcelo had never felt anything like that in his life.I laughed for 30 minutes and my sides were killin me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
