Sometimes I think it’s alright. Most times I think it’s too quiet.
Does my timing sound like it needs adjusting?
What do you think?
By the way, it’s a 1973 440 with longtube headers, dual 2.5” pipes going through dynomax something-rathers.

Sounds pretty good to me too!
Does is sound "odd" driving, shifting through the gears?
I've had several cars that sounded "mean" idling through parking lots but didn't act or sound as good as it should when the pedal was pressed to the floor.
In those cases, a GOOD converter solved the issue...

It runs and drives quite well actually. I just think that the exhaust isn’t very noticeable from inside…. Other than the exhaust leak pouring in when the windows are down.
The wind noise on the highway definitely trumps the exhaust note.

“Speak softly, and carry a big stick” comes to mind.

I like the sound, and if it performs well, that’s what matters

Sounds good to me. I’ve got Dynomax mufflers on my 65, sometimes I think they’re too quiet but I’ve never heard it going down the road. BTW you’ve got a brake light out.

Very dim but it’s there.
