My hometown, where I was born, 1959 till around 1997 is org. Concord Ca.
(with a couple short stints between school Or. & jobs across the western US)
at the foot of Mt. Diablo,
Contra Costa Co. east bay
I lived way up by the base, 225+ miles northwest of where I am today
was a smaller 'suburban town' when I grew up there, now is a real city
why I moved

Now
I live between 2 smallish towns Sonora Ca.,
the county seat under 6,000 population
only 50,000-ish people in the whole Tuolumne county

it's mostly rural, I live in a small maybe 80 (?) home community & private development
With our own water co. & all, about 10 miles between each Sonora & Twain Harte

I live in Copenhagen. Not the one in Denmark, but the one in S.W. Ontario.
Just a few miles from Vienna. Not the one in Austria, but in S.W. Ontario.
Used to live in St. Thomas. Not the one in the Bahamas, but in S.W. Ontario.
These are all just south of London. Not the one in England; but S.W. Ontario.
It seems like we have a problem with picking original place names around here.
Oh, and I live on Imperial Road. Do you know how hard it is to get an address with a Chrysler name in it? We looked and looked and looked! LOL

Main drag of nearest town, population 7,000..... ten miles away:

Born and raised in the North Suburban Chicago Area until I first left in 1969. Now this is my home having lived in CA for a lot and retiring here. Best kept secret in NV...IMHO...cr8crshr/Bill:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::usflag::usflag::usflag:

Amazing how many of these smaller towns
the Main St. (going thru the center of town) all looks very similar

Not to be obstinate here - but what, exactly, is the definition of "home town" in this case?
Yes, I have reason to ask...none of it nefarious.

Berryville, Virginia. Near the Shenandoah River and the Appalachian Trail, and White Post Restorations. The annual Summer's End car show in down town Berryville is coming up on August 27,2022 from 2pm to 7pm. Usually about 200 cars.

Right now I’m in Gordon TX, home of the 1996 and 1999 6 man football state champs! And yes just like every small Texas, it’s a small downtown, with the train splitting it, and an s curve on north and south main. Every small town in Texas is this way

Population: no idea!

Here is better, but I still miss there.

Grew up in Mechanic Falls Maine. 1 paper mill and a machine shop my buddy's forefathers built up, JW Penney and sons. Nothing special there. Now live in Conway SC. This place is classic main st USA. Love it here.
