My latest carb build

[68 HEMI GTS]

Did up an older 8082 for a 500ci Hemi. Converted it to annular boosters, made the air bleeds and IFR’s adjustable, drilled out the angle channels, and remapped it to be a much cleaner running carb. I put it on the road runner to try it out. I was very happy, one of the best running carbs I’ve had on it.

That sounds great! Nice job. Is a 13.9 A/F Ratio what you want it to idle at? My 440 A/F meter bounces around 11 and 12 / 1. I'm going to take the 4779 Dbl Pumper off tomorrow, to see if I can lean it out some, and fix a Vac leak. Thanks

I went a tad richer on it. Ended up around 13.5 in neutral. Drops to 14.5 in gear and looses about 150-200 rpm. Comes to a stop real happy, don’t have to 2 foot it or anything. I like them as lean as they will tolerate but still be happy and have good drivability.
