A wild guess, anything else nearby. The wire coming back into the trunk on that side I don’t think is normal. Could anyone at some time had a battery there for use at the strip and removed things? Maybe some attachments to put weight on that corner? Can’t recall seeing any 66-67 B bodies with that.

None of my 4 67s have had that bracket. Battery is a good guess.

There is also a hole below that on the trunk pan floor. If we had more of a picture there might be a matching hole approximately 12 inches to the rear.
Hope you don’t need a metric conversion! He he!!

The wire in the pic is a rear mounted antenna. It looks factory, I thought it was maybe Hemi specific

A rear antenna was optional on a 67 B body. The bracket pictured looks like it could be part of a rear battery setup. It's definitely not original or part of a RO or WO rear battery package. Maybe some of the drag racers might identify this.

Seeing how it’s bolted in my guess is not factory. Kim

Likely right. Looking closer the factory wouldn’t have put a bolt into the wheelhouse that way. It was raced with a 440 and bears a bunch of butchery. This was likely part of it. Battery tray?

A 67 Charger that we used to own, had a antennae on the right rear quarter. It was installed by the dealer, when the owner took delivery. It did not have a bracket like that. It was mounted like a front fender antennae, but different bezel. Just maybe if there had been a power antennae they could have had a bracket of some sort. Was there any indication of a hole in the quarter for an antennae?
