A friend is looking for a picture of an original 67 Coronet 500 383 4 barrel air cleaner. I believe that it had a 500 cfm 4 barrel carburetor, dual snorkle.

67 Satellite 383 4bbl dual snorkel air cleaner. I think Coronet is the same.

For the benefit of those of us who just like to know stuff......
Isnt the 67 dual snorkle kind of an oddity for certain reasons?? Such as `last year for round snorkles'? 'No dual snorkles before 67`? `Large dia hole in baseplate`??

TIA, Lefty71

My Dual Snorkle 67 500 383 4- barrel had the round openings, but the base plate hole was quite small, it had a factory 500 cfm carb.

All 1967 carbs were small mouth cater AFB. No
Large carb opening baseplates were made yet.

Heres a bit of a follow up question.....and thx to those that already replied....
What '66 cars had a dual snorkle, and how if at all would it be
different from the `67 version then??

Thx

I think the 66 TNT 440s had dual snorkels

Are you sure?

I believe the 67 350 hp 440 came with a Holley.

How quickly I forget, about the most forgettable carb Chrysler corp used in The 60's.

I was referring to B-body engines though.
