I came across a tremec tr-6060 6 speed tranny for $2k just curious if this was a good deal. I think it is but I'm no expert. Just tranny no bell housing or clutch. Thanks guys.

To me that seems expensive. I would keep my eyes open but I haven't priced a TR-6060 lately. I know a normal price on a T-56 (the predecessor) was 1500 with the bell housing. I'd say 2k might be on par if they provided the housing.

Is it still in the car or out? I don't think I'd pay that much unless I could test it first.

check out the prices on them on ebag... 2k doesn't seem that bad...
1500 would be better but ....
