Negative battery cable, where to attach?

Hey guys/gals. Need advice on where to attach the negative battery cable to engine. I know it goes to the head but what if the head has no hole for it? Motor has P/S but not installed yet. I was thinking of putting the end of the cable behind the P/S mounting bracket, against the block. If not there, suggestions? Wasn't sure on where to put this topic in, sorry,

I believe it typically is sandwiched between the throttle return spring bracket and the first, front hole of the intake on the drivers side. Like shown here...if you look close enough you'll see the black cable going to the intake...

For some reason, I thought it went to the forward side of the head. Thanks guys have options
