Just getting back up to speed after living without the computer for 3 years. Found Mopar Chat first, SCredneck clued me in to this forum. i'm 40, from Vermont, got into Mopars early mostly due to Grandfathers who had Mopars, plus a friend of the Dad's who took me to the drags early in my life- i just decided for myself there was nothing prettier than an early '60s Wedge trouncing a Camaro. Can't really explain it, it just Was.

Anyway, as the name implies i'm not exactly traditional. i've had seven Cordobas, as well as a '78 Lebaron i ran in the J/SA class. Plus a '70 New Yorker, '75 Newport, '76 Duster (First car was a '75 GoldDuster, but never saw the road 'cos it was just too cheesy underneath), '77 Gran Fury Police, plus trucks almost without number. Spent 10 years moving around the country doing contract engineering work for telephone companies, so my cars are long in my past, but home for good now (with parking) so i plan to be back in a car soon to go along with my '08 Dakota i got when i finally got out of all the diesels i needed to haul my crap around the nation.

Truthfully, there's a Swinger in Ithaca i'm eyeballing, i hope i can send a PM now that i've joined.....Unless i can figger out how to get to SC and take on SCredneck's '76 Charger project, that is. Want a Charger, but jeez Ithaca is so close, ya know?

glad to cee you made it.now the real fun begins trying to get a collection started.

Good to have you, awful young to retire, did you change jobs?, or just stop travelling.

Definitely too young to retire.... just got sick of moving around, being away from my family, living crammed into that 5th wheel. Packing up every few weeks or months into an RV and 1 enclosed trailer gets old, and besides, some states are starting to crack down on pulling double trailers like we did. (i'll post a pic soon on what the rig looked like all together.)

Thanks for the welcome all!
