Afternoon. I just joined this forum and hope to learn lots from the established users. Running a 70 Coronet Deluxe that I purchased in 2005.

Welcome to the site. Plenty of information here as well as some real nice rides. Post up some pictures of your car. I like this site because it is mostly good people on here without the drama of some other sites.

Nice Coronet. Welcome from the state capital.

Ken

Bought at an estate sale in Minnesota in 2005 with rusty floors but original and complete. Matching numbers 318 V8. Mostly original paint. New floor pans and seat covers. Engine built by Koffels. 8.75 rear with 3.55 Suregrip. Flowmaster duals. Correct AM/FM B body radio. Misc. other stuff.

I have since cut out all the rust and welded new metal in. A frame cap, full floors as well as fender patches and quarter patches.

Man that is nice. Haven't seen one exactly like it. The color, dress, stance, and condition. Perfect. Less is more. I would not touch a thing from here on. What color is that? Thanks for saving it.

Thanks for all your thumbs up.The color is simply called Beige (code BL1). I think it was mostly used on the low end cars. They only made about 1050 of the WL21 cars in 70. My car's only options were the upgrade from the slant 6 to a 318, automatic transmission and a AM radio. I used to own a 70 Challenger SE with a 383HP/ 4speed combo but sold it because it was too nice to be driven. Now that's not a problem with this one. I agree with the 'less is more' approach. This car originally came with Rallyes (can be seen in some pictures) but I much prefer the steelie look now.
