I have a brand new assembly and bought the foam insulation pad. I must dumber than a box of rocks because the rectangular shape of my 70 b body tank allows for the pad to fit either way. I know the notches cutout are there for a reason but does anyone have a pic to show the correct orientation? I really don't want to put it in backwards!!

You know what they say Dave; “The greatest form of flattery is mimickry”. Take it as a compliment.:poke:

I personally can handle (2) Plum Crazy 70’s around here like that. In fact, I prefer more lol.

One of the first things I did underneath even BEFORE the tank was installed. Engine, transmission and rear axle were in. All covered and shown in my restoration thread. That section you probably have to be on DodgeChargerdotcom though.. Now Complete Restoration / Pulling my 1969 'Bee down for strip and paint

Gorgeous paintwork but I don't have access to a rotisserie so I had to go chassis black on my underside.....all from my back. It looks clean but just not as nice a color! I already have diff in so that might interfere with the line but the tank is still on the floor.

Bottom of mine was sanded/primed/sanded/painted/cleared sitting on jack stands and George ain't a small man!... glad it wasn't me! He won't use a rotisserie on a uni-body.
