New to the forum. Just found it. Looks like this is going to be a fun and informative site. I have a 1971 Plymouth RR Clone (Satellite Sebring Plus RP23G). I purchased the car in 1985 at the Houston Autorama not knowing much about Mopars (I went looking specifically for a 1969 Mustang Fastback 390 4spd. car). I've been a Mopar fan ever since. The car has a 383/727 with 2.76 rear. Not quick but scary fast! With that gear it was like having overdrive. She would do 65 in first, 115 in second and IDK in third (went to a speedometer burial once and it was still pulling). It has a 1969 Charger R/T K-frame (for the sway bar setup) because I couldnt find a 71 bigblock setup. To make it work the brake calipers/spindles had to be moved from driver to passenger and vice-versa. If you look close at the pictures you will see the caliper trail the rotor instead of lead the rotor. She has been sitting since about 1992. Tried a couple times for a revival but would find something new that was broken or needed repair. A friend from highschool found out I still had and inspired me to break her out and at least get her road worthly. Since April I've managed to install a new steering box (thats a story in itself right there, 71 parts are rediculous, 73 parts are much cheaper :headbang:), pitman arm (again, 73's are much cheaper), new master cyliner, booster, brake lines (all), calipers, wheel cylinders, hardware kits, gas tank, radiator (I never get one that fits perfect), slap stick shifter. I've gotten to drive it around the parking lot quite a bit but not on the road yet. Miss the sound of an old Chrylser starting. Gotta love high-torque starters. Engine sounds great, still revs good but seems to starve for fuel sometimes. Not sure if I still got air in the fuel lines or used to big a hose on the fuel tank (the four lines on the driver side). Anyway I hope to be able to bring her back to better than new in the next year or so (daughter wants to drive it to prom. Thanks for listening and hope to learn alot that I have forgotten over the last 20 years or so...

The pictures are as it was pulled from hibernation. Pretty sad. But its all there. The first pic was taken around 1990.
