Hi guys ! Im new here but on the forum of forabodiesonly.com since 6 or 7 years , some people saw my post on the other site , ive found and bought a 74 rr gtx that was parked in the woods since 1989 , bought it for 200 bucks , its all oroginal everything is there , but its in really bad shape since theres no rocker panels or floors on either side , the car was roting away and the floor belly was touching the grass or mud wathever we can call it for all those years , manage to take it out and will figure a way to weld everything back...new to these b bodies because i have a 74 cuda and a 76 duster , hope i can find lots of info here !

Welcome sir, you will enjoy the education. Need pictures so we can finalize your indoctrination.

Welcome!

74 Road Runner GTXs are rare cars. Not sure of the value but they didn't make many of them. I turned down buying one many years ago because I was sure they never made a GTX in 73-74, and it honestly looked like the guy had poorly attached a set of GTX emblems! Of course, it turns out I was dead wrong and it would have been a great car to buy.

Best of luck with yours!

Welcome to FBBO fellow GTX brother. I have a 68 GTX. Great site with lots to offer. Shoot us some pics of your project when you get a chance.

That could be such a cool car! Love the black with white stripes. It`s going to be a huge project though!

First, welcome to the site, glad you are trying to save her, second, after looking at the pictures, it looks like the entire car is twisted due to excessive rot, third, I think you would be better off salvaging what is still good on that car and either parting it out or using it on another car. If you do decide to try and put this one back together, good luck with the project.
