Picked this up off of ebay to use in my new shop. Colombian D45 with 6 1/2" opening, 5" wide jaws. Very good shape, the inserts look new. Operates smoothly, worm gear looks new and the lock down holds it tight.

SCORE!
Nice acquisition. Vices are one of my vices. I have five mounted throughout the shop.
Vices are kind of like beer which is another vice. You can never have too many!
Probably the single most used tool in my shop.

Quality vise.... I sold the Colombian vise line for years

Sure looks nice. I'm not familiar with that brand. I still have my Sears Craftsman from about 1979 bolted to the bench. 3 1"2 jaws & 5" opening. Brutally abused, but I'm not a professional.

Edit: Also have a Chinese vise, 5" jaws & about 10" opening. It sits on the floor and only used for some larger projects, not a quality product.

I just picked up a Record No.2, made in England (before Irwin bought them) at an auction. 3 1/2" jaws, compliments the Record No.5 I have already. My wife commented why do I need that vise as I already have two. I replied I have three work benches, but only two vises. I will try to post photos

when I get it cleaned up.
