As I learn more about what the previous owner did to this '67 273, I have more questions.
PO had a Comp Cams XE262H-10 (462/470 lift, 262/270 duration) installed. He had asked for a stock cam...this is what he got. Installed with Comp Cams hydraulic lifters, and the same ball/cup pushrods that came original in the motor. In addition, he had a rebuilt Carter BBD (believe a 4114s) 2 bbl. installed.
Question is, not knowing what the capabilities of this carb are, is it enough to support this cam, or do I need something bigger?

I think you can go 4bbl with that cam. Stock '64-'67 273 2bbl cam: 240/240 .395/.405
273 4bbl cam: 248/248 .415/.425
'68-'69 273 cam: 240/248 .373/.400
'64-'67 had mechanical cams. '68-69 were hydraulic.

Can't say I've ever regretted stepping up to a 4 barrel....EVER.

The good news, being a 67 your 273 will accept most any small block mopar intake..

definitely not a stock cam and you can't compare comp durations with factory add 10-12 degrees to factory hyd and 8 to DC/MP to equal comp
more to equal crane, cam dynamics, Summit, etc
do the intake and avs or avs2 carb or TQ from a 318 ( spread bore is best if you can find the manifold)
how your retainer to stem seal with that lift?
