Day 1 in the borrowed car was less than stellar. .085 r/t 11.70 best on a 11.50 index. Today was better. 76 cars in N/SS. They run all the 9s, 10s 11s 12s separate. I gave it back in the semis by 2.5 ft. My buddy Dave lost to the same guy in the finals by 2 feet. The car we built the trans for and put back in Tuesday night at midnight went thru 32 cars in the 10 second class for the win. It was my buddy Mikes1st win ever. Thru 5 rds he was .000, .001, .055 .013, .003 R/T

Picked up a $100 for the semis. Won a $500 gift certificate from ATI at our banquet. Fixed the headlamps in my truck. They failed in heavy rain on the way down Thursday. Had to run the A/C wide open to keep the switch cool. Unfortunately it was 51 degrees. All and all not a bad day Tommorow is the big one. 77 cars in class for $4K plus contingency.

Well Sundays go didn't go as planned. The borrowed car doesn't follow the weather. Guessed for rd 1 based on 3 first run time runs. Went 11.485 on 11.50, double breakout and got the win. Rd 2 based the weight added to run 11.50 on rd 1. The car had been cutting close to .040 R/T during most of the runs. I decided to bump it a little deeper in the beams. R/T .003 at the start, so that was good. I'm a little rusty at the stripe being chased. Couple that with a car I thought was set to go 11.50-11.505. Was way late on the brake, 11.465. So that ended my day. All and all a good weekend. My good friend Casey Fauss Johnson won the main event.
