It's a shelf to hang up in my garage. 1920s Dodge grill shell that I fabricated wooden shelves for and glued old Mopar ad inside. I had to bang out a few dents and weld some cracks. I'll probably hang it up this week.

What did you do to get the "patina" on the shell? Or is that the way it was?

I used spray paint cans. Started with red primer, then sprayed gold and then a light dusting of satin black.
