Hi. I have a question if anyone knows. On my aluminum timing cover: which is already on the car, it has no timing marker. Didn't notice or think about it when it was put on. How can a person time without that or can it not be done? Thanks for any info. 440 stroker engine by the way.

Might help if you get a top dead center stop also.

Yeah what Shorthorse said. So you can verify where TDC actually is and then compare to the 0° hole on the tab and the mark on the dampener. My tab was off by a degree and a half.

Yeap, doesn't matter if I have a timing mark I always confirm with the piston stop.
