My 74 Charger came without factory ac. Has any one here converted their non air car into a ac car and what did you have to do?

Aftermarket or Factory A/C

If you want factory A/C then all you need to do is get the opening for an A/C box cutout of a parts car firewall. You'll need an A/C box, vents, duct work. You will have to cut your dash frame for the drivers side vent. You will then need all the under hood stuff. Its not as complicated as it sounds and many people have done it.

My car was factory air car however we did not get any ducting or heater/ac box with the truckloads of parts so i filled the firewall and we are going with aftermarket ac [by the time we purchase all the stuff thats missing] the cost will be a wash.

Ok Thank You. I will see what parts I an round up later.

I found an old Add on factory air kit on e-bay, small inside box, and got it for $500. Everything I needed was there except the compressor mounts. Made the mounts, running the hoses now, and it's not a bad job at all
