Non-original idler arm?

The bushing on my current idler arm is rotted so I removed it. Ordered a generic Moog k7041, from RockAuto (OEM / Interchange Numbers: 2535793, 2535886, 2835834). It is much shorter. Is this going to be a problem?
The steering box Firm Feel with a quicker ratio. I assume the idler are my pulled off was part of that kit as a whole? Or maybe it's meant to have a longer one installed with the new box? Or, did I just get the wrong part from RockAuto?
I couldn't find any established threads that addressed this exact issue. Thanks, in advance.

These are Moog part numbers for Mopar idler arms. There are quite a few. It should match. yhe original.

The discontinued Moog pitman # K7024 is for 67-73 Imperials. Pitman # K7017 and idler # K7009 is for 63-66 Imperials.

Well beling shorter it WILL move the center link closer to the oil pan - which would certainly be a problem for me !!
