I believe the coronet and charger are the same.

Charger guards have a round hole on the bottom attach ear and Coronets have a slotted hole as shown.Coronet guards are the same side to side where Charger guards are different for each side.

interesting now I will have to look at my 70 charger guards , SO what Im reading is that the charger has a left and right guard.
