SOLD NOS MOPAR CENTER LINK 63-65 B BODY?

I purchased this NOS center link for my 1970 B Body restoration.
Sadly when we got around to using it we discovered the tapered ends were not correct.
I have been told that this center link is for 1963 1964 and 1965 B Bodies.
I am trying to recover the cost of it at $100.00 plus shipping from 46391.

I have had a couple of private conversations asking about a factory part number on this center link.
I have checked it from one end to the other and there is NO factory part number?
I was hoping that the tapered ends would provide a clue as to the proper application of this part.
It is identical in shape and length to my 1966 1967 1968 1969 1970 center links except for the tapered ends?
