was picking up a parts truck at my buddies place and mentioned i was looking for more dodges.
he tells me he just got this 2006 quadcab in,and i could buy it as is.
normally i dont buy anything newer than 94 to reuse personally.
plus i was thinking it was one of those shitty 4.7-s.

so i went there today and whammo,its a 5.7 hemi with 120k original miles.
superclean inside,but the usual rust/new york.
usually ill dicker on the price but for 900 bucks i just laid out the cash and called it good.

seeing as used 5.7 hemi engines go for 1200 and up,i think i did alright.
only pic i got,as i just drove it home in the dark.

About the only good thing to living in the rust belt is getting deals like this. Down here, less than 20 yrs old for under $1K doesn't exist, unless the seller is a good friend of yours.

You didn't mention if it was a 4x4, but any running, complete 4x4 truck seems to have a minimum price of at least $3000 around here.

its a 4x4 i didnt wanna break it.
it Does run drive and go down the road Very nicely tho.
no check engine light no codes,and it seems to need just tires and a clutch fan.
btw,tires,holy farking 20-s !!

i gave it to my brother and he reggied it today,probably the best truck hes ever had.
plus it got him out of that shitty chevy and back inna dodge.

to alfi,if you liked that,you would have loved the $300 wrecked hemi durango.
at least until we had to remove the hemi and found out it was attached everywheres.
