Have a 400, aluminum heads, 7 qt pan and will have headers. In search of a oil dipstick and tube. Will a stock one fit or after market? Not sure which one will be better but kind of like some of the after market ones to coincide with the heads and headers as to OEM. Anyone have suggestions/advice? Thanks

Thanks for the info. That might and should work. Wonder if there is a polished aluminum, stainless or something. Will look into this

I went with the lokar, has an o-ring at the top for better sealing. It's flexable so I attached it to a header bolt.

I built a 400 with Hooker Super Comps, after I neatly bent the dipstick to clear it was a pain to get in and out. The Lokar flexible braided dipstick is a a sweet product and solved my issue.
