Just curious what oil everyone is using for 512 stroker street motor oil . All roller and are you using conventional or synthetic

I would just use whatever I find in my garage. If it's not a flat tappet cam engine that needs zinc, you can use anything that is the right weight for your internal clearances, and weather.

I tend to buy oil when it's on sale. Didn't realize how much I had till I put it all in one place.......

I’ve never run anything lighter than 10W-40. I usually use Mobile 1.

Check w engine builder on what they recommend w the bearing tolerances. Tight tolerance can use a 5-30, loose tolerance a 20-50.

I doubt you built a 512 stroker just to go to church on Sunday......
I would use syn oil for max protection; the rod brg speed is higher with strokers, which generates more heat & syn oil has a higher working temp.

My vote is Mobil 1 15W-50

If you're running conventional oil, Valvoline VR-1 in 10W-30 or 20W-50.
