On a 62’ 361 engine, where is the oil pressure sensor located for the idiot light? Not for an actual measurement gauge.

It would mount on the rear of the block. Should be two tapped holes. One for the oil sender for a gauge and the other for a light. You will have to verify the thread size. If it is 1/4 NPT get a sender for a mid 70's slant six.

You mean right by the bell housing, top rear?
