Big block mechanical camshaft 3 bolt. Mics out to be around .510 lift. looks like 1960 stock. Crower help line has not helped. Any ideas?

Quick google search - I came up with this from crower's web site.

"If the number on the cam starts with a letter it is a custom ground camshaft not a catalog or shelf camshaft."

I know this does not help, but being an older cam the info maybe long gone. Might have to take it to a shop that can get all the specs of the cam.

May I ask what are you able to find out about a cam and the steps. I have a dial indicator, calipers, and mics, along with part inspection experience. I ask because I have a unknown cam with no markings on it. I know I'll need to buy some more tools to do this. All I have been able to do to get info is the lift of the cam.

next time I have a block on the stand I will dial it in. Thanks Guys
