Heart like a Wheel decent movie with some old dragsters & funny's, the Shirley Cha Cha Muldowney story... Red Line 7000 was that the one with James Conn in it ? as a Nascar driver, I'm not sure if that was the Elvis or James Conn movie or not, bad memory, I got sometimers

Oh yeah.. a couple of other little factoids and I'll shut up...
'Rendezvous' was mentioned ; a great film that I watched so many times once we could get copies of it here that I remembered all the shift points...
The guy who did that is the same guy that did 'A Man and a Woman'. Also, after Rendezvous was released, some Provincial judge saw a copy. He was 'outraged' [that some one still had a bit of hair and individuality...editorial over] and issued LeLouche a huge fine and suspended his license. The director successfully fought it, after much time and enrichment of lawyers, based of course on no one being able to identify the driver or the car...
To this day, there is still discussion over who actually DID drive and exactly what car was used. Lelouche aint sayin!

Had a small party in the Bar-N Saturday night. Mostly friends of my wife who never had seen Rendezvous, so I played it for them. Man that Ferrari sounds awesome.

I lived in Paris for a year and have driven on almost all of the streets in the film. I am sure after all the trips on the sidewalk he made in the movie that it took a while to clean off all the dog poop he ran thru.
