paint new steering box?

I have had my steering box rebuilt. It's for a 1970 Coronet daily driver.
Would you guys paint it? Or leave it bare?

I think I'd tend to leave it bare. Not sure, but I think that's the way they came from the factory.

I had mine painted cast iron colour, then clear coated for ease of keeping it clean.

Silver Urethane. Easy to clean.

I painted mine black to match the rest of the suspension that is either painted or powder coated black.

I sprayed mine with clear.

Power or manual? Manual... it's pretty clear what I'd go with. Power I may paint black...
