PCV valves 1970 1971

Refresh my memory


There are 2 different plastic capped PCV valves for these years.

Is it a year thing or engine size thing that determines ribbed or smooth barrel

Bill, from the information that we have on file, the three ribbed variety was most commonly found on the big block / Hemi applications. The smooth variety was more commonly found on the small block applications.

Not sure why one would be used more on one style vs the other, but that was what we had on file and how we package them for retail and our vendors.

But I have seen both on survivors, so never say never,
