Thanks guys, I'm getting a little nostalgic seeing all these old car photos... oh my ill spent youth...LOL...

Love that old Ford.

I wish I had some photos of it finished in Black Cherry it was impressive & ran pretty well too, I change from double adj. ladders to a Chassisworks 4 link & fab9 rear & FC Cage, best of 7.98 & 169 mph, Alky Injected Hilborn Hat on a Tunnel ram 540ci Brodix-3 headed, full on roller, alum. rod, blah blah blah BBC, later 1991-92ish IIRC with a 540ci Milodon Mastodon All Alum. Hemi 8.71:1 Blown Hilborn Inj. Alky went 7.20's @ 188-190 the day I sold it, it's supposedly back in Europe/Germany somewhere now...

I know I sure didn't get many pics of my cars. My first 'real' drag car (faster than 12's anyways) was only photograph in my driveway. The previous owner has some action pics but said he couldn't find the negatives and said he would get some copies made but that never happened. Hey, do you have a scanner? That usually works pretty well to scan old pics onto your hard drive.

As much as I absolutely love my MoPars, but the 49 Ford Business Coupe is a sexy beast, so is the 23 Ford Altered... I grew up[ loving the Gassers & Altereds, especially when they had a Blown Milodon Mastodon Hemi {Chrysler style} power in them later on, like both mine did...

Yea I wish I would have documented all my cars much better "now too", oh well, such is life... Cranky yea I tried the scanner a few times, but my newer Windows 7 Pro computer software, doesn't recognize the old HP Office Jet {originally for 1999 Windows 98/Windows ME crap software} Fax Scanner Ink Jet Printer combo, I've tried different software's too & even different Windows patches, it works on everything but the scanner part, for some damn reason, it worked fine with my "old puter" & it was Windows XP Pro...

I'm looking at the XP Pro mess too because that's what mine is and Stoopid Soft is about to drop support for it. I have a lap top with 7 on it and so far, I like it ok but man, not looking forward to updating? all this stuff. I am no puter geek....

i was just gonna say that ford looked bad ***!most of my old pics were destroyed in a fire.miss alot of my old rides.

I suck a s a photographer too...LOL... & I'm no techy either, but the switch from XP Pro to W7 wasn't all to bad {supposedly way better than W8}, it took a while to get use to all the different programs & access, but hell I still haven't used a few of them & it's been like 2+ years now... I know just about enough, to really screw stuff up, if I wanted to, or did the wrong things...he he ha ha

These are some really cool pictures. It's even better fir you knowing you have lived the dream. Love all the HP. Thanks for sharing.

Man, you owned a lot of cool cars. I wish I could have owned even half of those.

Thanks I've been doing this stuff since 1975, had 26 real racecars, I had 2 racecars at a time allot when I was younger/dumber...LOL... Something like 60 combined race/collector/street strip/muscle cars total, another dozen or so 4x4 pick-ups & a couple 2wd cruiser trucks & a dozen different tow rigs too... Most all cars were built by me or helped built by me, I had to do the stuff myself to afford being able to race... My 1st, what I consider a "real racecar" was the 27 Ford Bodied Altered, I was guided by a guy {Don Tourte}who builds dragsters & F/C for nostalgia racing, mine was originally an old left-hand steer F/C "world fastest hippy" 69 Barracuda F/C, body was completely trashed & really bad tin work {I wish I had that 69 Barracuda F/C body back now}, so I figured; a fast 27 Ford altered would be much cooler & in my budget range, than a slow outdated F/C would have been {little nostalgia racing stuff back then}... The story just snowballed/grew from there, 100's of thousands of $$$ later, now I'm back to a street/strip car again...LOL... like 1974-75 & I'm 15-16 y/o all over again...

Man, you owned a lot of cool cars. I wish I could have owned even half of those.
