Hey folks! While I was replacing the under dash wiring harness, I pulled the column out. No problem. I believe the factory coupling had been swapped out for an aftermarket one. No problem there. There was a plastic cap that went over the inner steering rod and I guess seals up the outer tube. Somewhere in this thing was two “c” shaped pieces that had heavy grease. They fell out on my shop floor. Are these seals available and what is the proper name. Thanks!

They look like your Z-bar bushings...
Well you know, they do come to think of it. My engine guy pulled the 440 out for rebuild and the four speed got sent to Passon for a once over. I bet he laid then on the frame and they fell off while I was running a new engine harness. Got any ideas on the seal thing? Think they’re available? I don’t even know exactly what it’s called.

They were z bar bushings! I also found the seal at Detroit Gasket. Thanks folks for the help. Seems every issue is something new to me, not something I’ve dealt with before.
