Police wheels and full wheel covers

Anyone used a full wheel cover on a police wheel?

I am planning on using NOS 15" wire wheel covers on my 71 SE thus I need 15" steelies. Police wheels are readily available and reasonable so a set of those would work. I would think the outer hoop is the same as other 15" steel wheels of that era?

Yes full caps will go on there. Please think over the police wheels on the weight. 28lbs per wheel is a bit excessive. They are a HD wheel and very heavy. It takes horsepower to rotate them and brake power to stop the centrifugal force of spinning. Unsprung weight is bad.
