I've heard a couple of opinions that Poly bushings are not good on B-Body LCA's. I've got a 70. Thoughts or direct experiences would be appreciated.

I rebuilt my front end about 8 yrs ago with poly lca bushings, no problems.

Wow, that’s a big tap. Great video, thanks. I remember seeing this years ago, but at the time I didn’t have a welder so I dismissed it.

Here's a new one:

I found a used one on eBay for $15.
I gave it to the repair shop and told them how to use it.
The control arms came back beat to ****, he said the tap wouldn't fit. :(

I'm waiting for my "cheap HF press" to get restocked so I can do control arms the correct way.

Welding the washer is just as effective.

Never had a problem using a 1-3/8 tap.

I've got the PST polygraphite super front end kit in mine and have had no issues, 2 years and about 5,000 miles.
