power steering pump- BB/SB the same?

Asking for a friend with no internet skills. He has a 65 Belvedere and is replacing the 318 with a 440. Will his existing power steering pump be compatible with the 440?

just different mounting brackets to the best of my knowledge

Should be. They should look the same. You just need to verify that as who knows what could of been swapped around in 58 years. Two pumps possible, Federal and Saginaw. They do not look alike.
