power steering pump

Hey guys, its been so long since i changed one out I cant remember. When changing a power steering pump on a 440 (Saganaw pump), does one of the bracket bolts penetrate a water/anti freeze chamber? forgot if I have to drain down the radiator to remove all the brackets. I want to remove the brackets to clean them up and repaint them since i am changing the pump out.

I just pulled mine a week ago on a 69 440 no leaks.

IIRC, none of the bolt holes for the big block pump housing goes into a wet cavity.....
