Hello my name is James just join. My project is a 1968 Plymouth GTX. Currently I'm working on installing the heads. In installing elbrock 5093 alunmuin head, I have a luniti 262/268 cam. My problem is the push rods, not for sure what lenght I need, I was told that I could use the stock rocker arm. Please help with push rod lenght.

Welcome.

Try posting your question in the Engines, Transmission and Drivetrain forum.
It's likely to have the more knowledgeable gear heads watching.

Buy an adjustable pushrod, be sure the cam lobe you are checking is on the base circle. with the rocker shaft torqued down, adjust the pushrod until you just feel resistance, then go another 1/2 turn. That should give you the correct pre-load. Take the rocker shaft back off and measure the pushrod. Now you have the length you need

Welcome!

Here’s a sight with info on how to measure and of course order. But good info to figure out length in the info video section. They’ve also been very good to contact. Many other good places out there too.
