How much difficulty would be involved in swapping out a 318 w/ 5 spd manual for a 440? Anyone had any experience in this? I've got a 1998 1500 single cab with a 318 and would like to shove a 440 in (or even a 360).
A 360 would be much easier, but If you want to put in a 440 you will just have to start measuring and turning wrenches. And since you are not working on a B body I can't offer much about the physical swap.
Not only that U may have to worry about emissions laws in your area,unless u dont have those laws then go nuts and a 5.9 stroker or 6.1 may be a better option 4 u.
