Quarter window roller stud to long??

Ok am I missing something?
When assemble the roller with the clip on I have a gap between the clip and roller.
Comparing to an original roller, the stud is longer by about 1/8 inch. Which is what my gap is.
Any suggestions?

Typical CCJ. I have never seen such junk as what is being sold today. I have seen very little that is right. They cant even reproduce the right size screws.
