My 69 GTX code include J9A. I understand what the J and the 9 represent. Can anyone confirm whether the A means the car was built to ship to Canada? I saw on a list of production numbers for the 69 Hemi GTX that J9A showed 11 cars that were shipped to Canada. Would appreciate any insight. Thanks.

Check your fender tag for a code beginning with a "Y". It can tell you what kind of order it was.

IF it was built for Canada it should have a Chryco radio in it.... and they're be a B starting the order # in the bottom right corner.

As stated, the digit (letter) after the year digit, is the factory assembly plant.

Thanks for clearing that up. Was just trying to get a sense of some of the production information on this car.
