I'm putting a car together that someone else had their hands in and probably didn't know what they were doing. (I'm sure most of you experienced this at one time when you bought an unfinished project.)
Tried putting the drive shift in after a motor swap and noticed the fit wasn't right. My yoke size in the car is 2 1/8. The u joint and drive shaft that came with the car is 2 5/8. I have 2 Dana 60's laying around and both are 2 1/8.
My question is? I thought all Dana 60 cars with a 4 speed had the 2 5/8 yoke in them. I measured 2 out of the car and one in the car and all of them are 2 1/8. Any thoughts from my experienced mentors??

My '69 Coronet 4-Speed original Dana 60 car has the larger 7290 U-Joint yoke.
The Charger with the Strange S-60 has the 1350 U-Joint Yoke.

It depends on the application of the dana 60. FSM has all of the info you need. How are you measuring the yoke?
