I bought a Quickfuel carb to replace the Carter that I had on there. The first thing I noticed was a problem with the linkage hitting the intake.
The second problem I noticed was the coil. The third was fuel line routing.
With the big Ram Air aircleaner and stock intake and carb on a 383 I have about .6" of clearance.
So here are the questions???
How thick is the metal in the first pic and can I grind this down to allow the linkage to pass?
Do you relocate the coil somewhere else?
Is it possible to take the fuel line to the firewall and then down?
