Photo of DC-93 during resto. No torsion bar installed, correct "Talladega 200 run" camber (-4.5)
Tire is all the way up. Lower control arm is crashed hard into the frame rail.
This scenario is a worse case that would not happen on the track.
As seen, it gets close to the fender top. With less camber the tire INNER gets into the hood inner panel bracing.
As seen, this is the ORIGINAL DC-93 sheet metal that was behind Don Whites Race shop in Keokuk, Iowa.
Rusted sections were repaired. It was a MUST DO to save the unique front end sheet metal,
since each race Daytona front clip had a LOT of hand massaging.
Look at the cowl photo : DC-93 has a removable cowl section so the engineers could change stuff to improve carb air
flow. Check out the bolt head/hole.
