Your right that’s what I found but it’s doesn’t match for 26in radiator. How do you measure the radiator left to right or top to bottom.22" or 26" radiator. The correct 22" would be an 2949 053
It’s 26inWidth..
Your right about that but the part number doesn’t match what’s in the parts manual for 26in.Isnt the core support only made for one or the other (22 or 26)?? Sounds like someone upgraded for a little better cooling at some point in your cars past.
Since I have a 26 in there I was going to buy one with the right part number and add the date code from Glenn Ray. There license from Chrysler. There were two different supports. So if you are going for originality and going to spend the money to track down the correct number radiator, then you should probably make sure you have the correct support as well.
If you are looking for the correct tanks, we were at Tony's Mopar last Summer and he had a TON of original radiators. I'd also look on Ebay.
Yes, that's a good option as well. I just thought I'd mention it as an option. It all comes down to finances and your needs. Some owners insist on wanting the original radiator as apposed to a reproduction.Since I have a 26 in there I was going to buy one with the right part number and add the date code from Glenn Ray. I don’t have fender tag or broadcast sheet that’s why I’m staying with the same size radiator26" would be either 2949054 or 055. 055 IF it had A/C. The fender tag or Broadcast sheet will be coded N51 for Max cooling if the 26" support is correct.
I’m going to buy one from Glenn Ray radiators. There running a carlisle special with free date code2898 041, states as below. (1968, S?? body, 318 CID, A/C)
Wtf is een S body?? Or was it a typo?

Good luck on finding a 054, on this side of the pool they are rare and if found be ready to pull the wallet.
My '69 Coronet is running with a 26" core from a '67 C body, gave up on looking for the right radiator.
As they guys stated, if a 26" radiator was used from factory the radiator support has a bigger hole.
My car had an 22" originally and i can clearly see a PO cut a section out of the radiator support to make the 26" work.
