My car: 1969 Dodge Charger R/T 440 with 26" Radiator.

I ordered this fan shroud because mine was missing.

It does not fit. We made it fit and it works but of course doesn't look nice.
Is there another manufacturer or do i have to look for an used part?
Does somebody have an original shroud in good condition (and that fits) for sale? (Would need it shipped to germany)

Factory radiator?

I'm pretty sure that's the one I bought as well. No other factory repops that I know about. Mine fit fine.

What doesn't fit? Is the engine centered? Depth of fan into shroud?

what is the number on your old fan shroud? number on radiator? You might have a c body radiator in your car.

The mounting hole positions do not match.
I need to look up the numbers but i would be surprised if its not the original radiator.
I do not have an old shroud. it was missing.

This picture (pre shroud install) is the best i have on hand right now.

But i doubt it tells much.

According to the first few feedbacks on that part number - there are no issues.
Either - a) Previous buyers of that part are liars, or b) Your radiator is different to original

I know that doesn't help, but there is obviously something weird going on.

Will look up the radiator parts number tomorrow.
Does somebody know where it is located?

Radiator number is embossed on the top tank.
Shroud has a number also...but since yours doesn't fit, and it's aftermarket...I doubt there is a MoPar number to find.

You have a generic aftermarket radiator, It has no numbers stamped into the top tank..

I guess otherwise it would look like this one?

Well that seems to explain both:
1.The non fitting shroud
2.The car goes hotter than normal (over 190°) in stop and go traffic. (I thought it was because of the missing shroud.)

Is this a correct reproduction for my car? (Car has AC, automatic and 26" Radiator from the factory)

Or maybe better one of those?

If you want one with a part number like the first link you listed try here & save yourself some money....

http://www.restorationradiators.com/products.asp?cat=1

If you don't care about the number you'll probably be fine with
the second radiator you linked...

If there's room the third radiator might run cooler but it is thicker & that limits fan clearance plus sometimes actually runs warmer due to reduced air flow...

Do you have a build sheet? Never mind... It looks like a 69 B body with a 440 & A/C gets a 2949055

More questions:

1.
Is this the right fan clutch for my car? (1969 Dodge Charger R/T 440, 727 and AC)
https://www.yearone.com/Product/chrysler-b-body/fc210
Mine looks again like an aftermarkt one so i want to replace it together with the radiator.

2.
According to yearone this seems to be the correct cooling fan for my car (7 blades, 18 1/2" diameter)
https://www.yearone.com/Product/chrysler-b-body/fb216
Bu summit racing only states 18" Diameter on the fan shroud that i bought?
https://www.summitracing.com/parts/dcc-p2785434
Another site states 16" and yearone for example states absolutely nothing.
https://www.yearone.com/Product/chrysler-b-body/fd603
I will try to measure but its kind of hard to do accurate measuring without removing the fan and/or shroud.

3.
Is there a good reproduction or original water pump for sale somewhere?
Would might be a good idea to swap it together with the other stuff.

I have a decent 2949055. Have not pressure tested it. Have had it since the late 1980`s.

Thanks for the offer but i decided to go with this one:

I do not want to gamble with a used part right now because shipping times to germany are pretty long and i dont know someone that could fix or rebuild it if needed.

So yearone.com basically sells the fan clutch from tonysparts.com and yes its the correct one for my car, right?

Do you also know where i can get a correct NOS or reproduction water pump maybe? :)

Honestly your best bet is probably to call Tony.. I'm sure he'll have a water pump....

Year One is just a reseller, they mark up everything, they over charge for shipping & they often sell inferior products that they hype as being the best....

I prefer to deal with the guys who have put their money & sweat into the hobby....

Dealing with Rock Auto can go two ways you get just what you want for a great price, or you get something that isn't quite what you thought... I recently bought a big block water pump from them cause the picture looked correct... Like that picture you screen shotted....
What I got Was a typical aftermarket aluminum pump.... I sent it back... A little harder for you since your not own the US... Deal with Tony, you'll get what you want.... Yeah it'll cost more but you won't have to deal with shipping it back..
