Can someone identify what temp is at the halfway mark on the 1968-1970 rallye temp gauge? I’m guessing 200, but I would like some input from t someone that knows.

Also, is there an aftermarket gauge that is a good fit with better temp identification?

They also had 2 different faces, and I'm sure it's described as to why one had the operating temp range centered and the other one to the right. At least the B bodies had numbers unlike the E Body Rally cluster that had no numbers at all.

Yes when you split the difference between 170 and 230, 200 is your number.
Is your gauge accurate? That's something we can't answer. Put a temp gun on your cooling passages by the thermostat.
Autometer makes great temp gauges.
