I just find it weird that you guys get it on Brown bottles and the rest of the country gets it in Green !
I'm going to find out for you Wayne. Won't be till the new years though. Heading over to St John to visit another uncle.

Considering I was one of the plant engineers at Consumers glass from '82 to '85 and we made Moosehead bottles by the 10's of thousands in GREEN even back then I find it really weird... and we still get Moosehead in Green bottles to this day here.

Brown bottles filter out visible and ultraviolet light that causes this reaction. Clear and green bottles don’t do much for filtering out the harmful light,

Beers with little or no hops aren’t as susceptible to damage from light, so clear and green bottles are widely accepted for those beers.

Sorry I keep editing ... Remember the little stubby bottles back when we were kids? Were they not brown?? Yes I'm color blind.
